Any recent games in the same vein as these titles to recommend ?
I love point and click inventory adventure games but I’m looking for something more puzzle based for a change
Thanks in advance

There are some coming out soon but I most recently played The Cave. It is not first person but has lots of puzzles and the game changes based on which characters you chose.
If you mean a collection of puzzles, like 11th hour was, then maybe Puzzle Agent?
Kairo maybe?

What’s the difference between a heavy puzzle type game and a hidden object adventure game like all those games from Bigfish ?
e.g Mystery case files : Dire grove
I would recommend the RHEM games - these are VERY Myst - like.
I enjoy playing adventure games on my Alienware M17 r4 and my Nintendo Switch OLED.

First I would say that most people here make a distinction between “adventure games” which I think you are referring to when you say “heavy puzzle” games and “casual games” which often, but not always, include a fair amount of hidden object scenes. And yes, many of the latter games are found on distributor sites such as BigFish.
There is a thread called Casual Games that includes a discussion on the topic you brought up. Rather than repeat it here, perhaps you should give it a look.
For whom the games toll,
