Hey,
i’m looking for a 2d game
all i remember is that you had to fight bandits or pirates
while exploring parts of the island for clues.
oh and the bandits kidnapped your monkey friend.
(this is not Monkey Island XD)

I second Karlok’s suggestion about TipOfMyJoystick, I found it super helpful in the past when I couldn’t remember the name of a game.

That said, do you have more details? Approximate year of release?
