Monkey Island 2? - I’m not sure which one really but the one where Elaine & Guybrush are both trapped?

Oops, just saw Baron_Blubba’s answer.  Embarassed

Hmmm….
Hmmmmmmmmmm

I haven’t played the Last Crusade, but I guess it could be Harrison Ford and Sean Connery?

I think there was a scene like this in Flight of the Amazon Queen. With Joe and Ian?

I really doubt this is correct, but that sounds exactly like the kind of thing George Stobbart would say to Andre Labineau in Broken Sword.

Wild guess, haven’t played the game, but I get the sense a joke like this might be on-brand:

Ben and Dan, in “Lair Of The Clockwork God”..?

That is a good guess. I haven’t played that game either, but it’s totally in line with the humor from the first two games, which I have played.
Really looking forward to playing the third one, but the fact that it’s not exclusively point and click mouse driven makes it tough to find the time. (It’s complicated.)

Both guesses incorrect, so far!

Not too far away though so…

Is that Rincewind and the beggar in the first Discworld?

I don’t know what the rules are on this but that’s so very close that I think I’ll have to give it to you Cicerone53. It could absolutely be something the beggar says, but in the game it’s the dunnyman who says it.

Of course, I could have made everyone trawl through the game for the right character, but that doesn’t seem like much fun…
