I don’t know enough about Jonathan to speculate, but if he’s been busy making a new game, it wouldn’t surprise me if he’s a little out of touch with the actual day to day stuff. I know you folks all have a fair bit of knowledge about Steam and GoG and the like, but I personally didn’t know about GoG until a month or two ago. It’s not as hard to lose touch while you’re busy doing other things as you might think, particularly when you’re a developer and not necessarily a gamer.

Every once in a long while, I do a little bit of surfing to see if anyone has started ‘borrowing’ my stuff, but they aren’t exhaustive searches by any means. Sadly/Happily, I’m nowhere near as established as Boakes is (in his field; I haven’t produced any completed games yet), so I have a lot less to lose, even if one of the companies I deal with does do something like this to me. But believe you me, it’s not as unlikely to lose track of these things as you might think.
