What I mean was, like Zifnab said, the story is in the journey too. I think game design freaks call it ‘emergent’ storytelling or something.
Gotcha, ‘story’ might be such a vague word that it includes everything shown in that trailer. I guess I mean ‘plot’; that it’s difficult to get me interested unless I’ve been presented with a plot that defines my motivation for solving puzzles.
But this might be, like you said, just a reflection on me because I’m admittedly not a big Myst fan. I’m more of a “oh a Resonance bomb is out and I have to stop it”-kind of guy. 
This game runs horribly on my setup. Needs better optimization.

My copy runs very smooth but I just got a new GPU, however when I come upon a hut or tent it pauses for a few seconds. Which is exactly when music starts up so yeah, you are right about the poor optimization.
Yeah, I’ve never had a working desktop for about six years. I’m running on a four year old gamer laptop. 
Sucks not saving money up for a new desktop.

Poor optimization put me off ,fps too jumpy for enjoying ag.
