Adventure Game reviews
It’s great that Adventure Gamers are reviewing so many games - I don’t usually want to post a user review myself or even add a rating so I thought it would be good to have a thread here dedicated to following on from reviews posted.
Football Game is the latest reviewed. I haven’t been disappointed by a Cloak and Dagger offering just yet & I just think that it’s great that this, the latest from a very small Indie team, has nabbed a respectable 3 + 1/2 stars!
Never mind about the stars I’m just delighted that this very worthy game has been highlighted.
The review for Guardians of the Galaxy was spot on at 3.5 stars. Not TTG greatest effort, story is blah and characters one dimensional. I only recommend it to those who have played all of the rest of TTGs games.
I enjoy playing adventure games on my Alienware M17 r4 and my Nintendo Switch OLED.
Matt Aukamp’s Florence review made me get the game and play it a few weeks ago.
Although I must admit that I skimmed the review at first and was mostly won over by the high score and the game’s short length - I was looking for something short and sweet.
Having actually played and loved the game, I went back to the review and fully agree with everything he wrote in it. It was spot on for me.
The truth can’t hurt you, it’s just like the dark: it scares you witless but in time you see things clear and stark. - Elvis Costello
Maybe this time I can be strong, but since I know who I am, I’m probably wrong. Maybe this time I can go far, but thinking about where I’ve been ain’t helping me start. - Michael Kiwanuka
The review of four stars for Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies is spot on too. It’s a great game and another classic in this series. This was the first one I played on the iPad and the transition was seamless from the previous Nintendo systems. I do hope this series continues in the west. Characters and story kept me glued to the game until the very end.
