I'm very sorry, nonax. I meant GameTap, and I'm not sure Europeans can join. I hope you didn't subscribe or anything.

Don't worry Fien, no harm done! Thanx for the tips anyways.
BTW, do you use GameTap? (I thought that you are Dutch)
GameTap says this:
Quote:
... and services available in the United States, its territories, possessions, and protectorates. ... GameTap makes no representation that material in GameTap's Web site is appropriate or available for use in other locations. Those who choose to access this site from other locations do so on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws, if and to the extent local laws are applicable.
Has someone from outside the USA tried GameTap?

Yep, I am Dutch. I don't use GameTap myself. I already own most of the adventures they offer, and I'm not interested in the rest.

Good grief, I already gave you 3 places. I bet you didn't even bother to check them out. Thanks for nothing, right?

Then go get it at amazon. (And pay far too much for it.) Renting site?? Shrug.
Beats me why you want a sealed copy when you would be willing to buy a downloadable Last Express at GOG or Steam.

that's the thing exactly, i want a game that will be fully functional and new, not a used game where the disc might be scratched and not work after a little while or something...

you're right Amazon is WAY too expensive with this game, i am looking for a "normal" price, and yes digital distribution like Steam would be AWESOME for this, that way the game is guaranteed to be working forever(or almost lol) but unfortunately no sign of this game on any of those sites yet

ah it's ok though it's not like i don't have a ton of other great adventure games to play in the meantime

Or, just go to the next site with a dubious legal status in a court battle and d/l it. It's not as if the creators would get anything from your buying the game off ebay or something.

I'd play mine, but it's still sealed in a box. I would feel bad opening it.

You would? I would feel bad not playing one of the best adventures ever.

And do you have the original Broderbund release with the lovely box and big manual or the rerelease? I have both. Started with the rerelease, nothing wrong with it, but I wanted the original too because it made me drool.

I once knew a guy who owned two copies of every single game: one to play, one to stay sealed and wrapped in its plastic forever. A true collector.

How can you tell? It's wrapped in a big box. What does the re-release look like?

I came across your post in the Adventure Game Trading thread in chitchat. You're offering The Last Express (!) and I quote: All of my games are disc, case and sometimes manual only.
