Vel, could you please tell me a bit more about your last discovery? Where, what conversations?

Even after so many passages, the last Orient Express apparently has even more things concealed, and I've scheduled my next replaying of this unique game for the summer of 2012. Till then.
I hope you can answer my question before you disappear, I don't want to wait till 2012.

Yeah, for instance when
Spoiler:
Kronos calls Cath to his car for the first time. He. Articulates. Each. Word., and Cath lightly mocks him on the first couple of phrases.

When (and if) you have dinner with Abbot right after he comes aboard the train, Cath also mocks his you-know, matter-of-fact line of speech.

One more brilliant moment that just came to my head: after Cath dismantles the bomb and has a chat with Abbot in the smoking car, Anna leaves to her room. We notice how Cath's eyes aren't fixed on Abbot, and he's feeling restless, in another universe than his interlocutor, not paying him much attention. Or when Cath saves her from Vesna and she turns to go, the full-motion animation of their hands touching.
Bloody brilliant game. Timeless art.

You're right, he sort of mocks Kronos. I interpreted it differently though (not so much Kronos' articulation as his manner). He has to make it up as he goes along and do his best not to show he's totally ignorant about what's going on.

I love that moment when Cath is looking at Anna passing them. We just see his face and her dress, very cinematic.

I wonder if you caught the look Abbot takes at the address on the envelope, which Cath uses (it is the envelope from the inventory, with Cath's address on it) to dismantle the bomb, and then in the conversation he dramatically unfolds his identity...

Rats! I missed that one too. I should be paying even more attention to the wonderful details.

Yep. It is there. In the moment just before they breathe with relief, as the bomb is dismantled. Because Cath uses the telegram Tyler sent him.

Btw. Jordan Mechner stopped posting his diary entries ( http://jordanmechner.com/old-journals/page/46/), hopefully he will continue posting some time later, as it is full of TLE notes. From December 1992, when the idea about making a train game came to his mind! If you want to let him know you are interested, you can write your comments here: http://jordanmechner.com/old-journal...ript/#comments

Default Another Easter Egg

Day one, night (Strasbourg). You wake up to the nightmarish / weird atmosphere. It seems you cannot click on anything in your compartment, you can just walk outside... Wrong. Before you go outside, press the upper bell 3 times, then it finally rings... Well, then go outside to see something really weird.
This special Easter Egg was found thanks to guys from Facebook TLE group...

Wow! A new easter egg?
That's awesome. Though this means I have to install the whole game again just for that >_>
If anyone has video it would be appreciated greatly.

Veruncheek's video works fine for me.

You see the conductor with a bloodied neck juggling with three heads.
Here's a pic from my own saves.

PS: You can get a little closer to him, but not much.

The cheapest one at ebay is currently $17.50.
You can also buy a download version at GamersGate GameTap.
Or trade/buy the game at Gametz.

EDIT: changed Gamersgate into GameTap. Don't know if Europeans can join Gametap.
