I was looking for a picture to show in the Shirtless Saga of the Neverwinter Nights 2 forums at Bioware. And I had that one with Wullewack in mind. So I searched for Wullewack, and saw I hadn't replied to those terrible threats yet. And you're welcome, Hunk. -

You know, I'm most disappointed that, to my knowledge, nobody has asked about the Hunk/Chick stuff yet...

Do you mean Where do the names come from? or What's going on between Hunk and Chick?

Well, the latter of those questions is easily answered by the word "nothing", with the minor caveat that we're bandying about these stupid in-joke names.
As for where they come from, it's all to do with the German translation of Neverwinter Nights, but I suppose that I should let Jaz explain, because she'll have far more fun doing so. |

Well, I don't really think there's anything to ask. The names make me feel slightly nauseous, but really, that's about it.

Well, we were playing NWN in the first week of January (I believe it was Wednesday). We were starting "The Cave of Songs" (not the japanese version) for the second time, along with Stepsie. Suddenly, Tibsie's character suddenly said something with the word "Schnecke", which actually means "Snail", but can also be used to refer to a woman, in which case it most likely compares the woman to a type of pastry that is shaped like a snail. It loosely translates as "Chick". I was slightly surprised at something like that being in the game, so I acted insulted, mockingly. Later I realise that the "Schnecke" was actually in the sense of "Snail" as it was the "Follow me" gesture dialogue that Tibsie most likely had selected. Still, the name stuck and we decide to see how long it would take until people wondered what's up with the "Chick" and "Hunk" name saying. Quote:

It's quite all right, darling. I'd be the world's biggest hypocrite if I actually complained.

Grammar question: which is the correct way of saying this: I always assume it's some well known character that everybody except me knows who it is. I always assume it's some well known character that everybody except I knows who it is. Things like that gets confusing for me.

Yes, I do like to confuse people by using old names. So I'd refer to Wormsie as "Deadsie", for example. I think "I" is actually the grammatically correct form, but the first one is generally used and accepted. -

I deny it because I know it to be so. Jaz thinks that she is controlling me, but the really clever thing is that I am in fact controlling her. I am outside the loop. And there is no empire.

How are you to know that the outside of the loop isn't just the Outer Loop and the non-existence of the Empire is simply a front to disguise the fact that there is not only an Empire... but a Republic too!!

No, I'm not I'm actually going to deny it. There is no Empire. Oh, and everything I'm saying in this post is a lie. (Now, I'll leave you alone to figure this out. ) -
