And I'm glad you agree with me, Bullsie. lol Especially when you have something serious to say, and they are nice and listen.

Oh you pretty things... don't you know you're driving your mamas and papas insane? Let me make it clear... you gotta make way for the Homo Superior. . Incidentally. I prefer my female friends to have generous curves, but I find there are plenty curvy girls who don't behave like those girly girls you mentioned do.

I've noticed that people seem to like to confide in me. Whenever I start talking to someone new online there tends to be a moment where they reveal something quite deep or personal, with the preceding statement "I've never told anyone about this before."

I'm not really what sure it is about me that elicits this, but I suppose it must be a good quality if people feel comfortable enough to place that level of trust in me so soon.

Yesterday Apple revealed the new Macbook Airs. Oh boy! Very good value for money if you ask me. What a pity my MacBook Pro is still going strong.

I think it's natural to feel awkward when women bring up menstruation. There's definitely something seriously wrong if you've started bringing it up.

Well, I became an uncle at 21 so being "avuncular" isn't really an age thing.

[Digression]Good god! My niece can't be that old, can she? I've still got a baby picture of her next to my computer. [/Digression]

Anyway, being 40 attracts nothing like the stigma it used to. (Ask me to say that again in 9 months )

It almost inevitably happens in any long-running series. To create new and interesting storylines with the same characters they have to get the characters to change to create new opportunities. It's worse when the character goes away for a year or so and comes back as a blatantly different actor.

I prefer my female friends to be happy with whatever shape they are. Nothing depresses me more than anyone who takes drastic steps to change their looks solely to please other people. (and few things make me angrier than makeup ads saying things like "You're worth it", as if anyone who doesn't slather themselves with their products is somehow worthless)

I hate make-up ads. I dont wear make-up on a regular basis...... there is just something wrong with putting make-up on and letting it sit and fester on your face just so you look cute. I guess that is why men dont fall all over themselves over me.......when another co-worker has make-up on and looks way better then I do.

I just feel like if you have to wear that much make- up to attract someone...... what is under all that makeup ?

I don't wear make-up, either, Bullsie. I usually just don't have the energy, so unless Louie's taking me out to dinner or something, I don't wear any.

I also don't usually wear any make-up. People have to accept me for who I am. If they only want to look at my skin then so be it, but they will miss out on my wonderful personality.

I don't wear makeup, either. Maybe that's why the boys don't notice me like they do my pretty nieces when we're out and about.

*sigh*

I guess she hadn't noticed it because you failed to put on some eyeliner.

I suspect tsa is getting at the fact that men seem to be allowed to get away with almost anything on the looks front (about the only suggestion on men's looks I see in adverts is dying grey hair. Even shaving ads seem mostly for the man's own satisfaction) Even in the alleged age of equality, there are still a lot of imbalances in society.

You mean in the liver and intestines and that sort of stuff? Gets pretty messy seeing that sort of beauty.

But yeah, physical attraction alone leads to very superficial relationships. It's the mental connections that make relationships (friendly and romantic) last.
