Scrap Riders: is now available on Nintendo eShop and Steam

Microids Indie is excited to announce the release of Scrap Riders, a pixel art beat 'em up adventure game, on the Nintendo eShop and Steam (PC and Mac). Developed by Spanish studio Games for Tutti, Scrap Riders takes players on a journey through a cyberpunk future, where they control Rast, a member of the outlaw bikers gang Scrap Riders, as they navigate through the wastelands and a metropolis controlled by corporations.

"We are thrilled to finally be able to share our game with the world," said Raul Diaz, game designer and programmer at Games for Tutti. "The development of Scrap Riders has been an incredible journey, and we hope players will enjoy the unique gameplay combination of classic Point’n Click adventure and Beat’em up action as much as we do."

Players will have to use their fists and guns to fight their way through the 2D beat 'em up gameplay, but to survive in this post-apocalyptic world, and they'll also need to rely on their wits. Players will progress through the story by talking to the right people, gathering clues, and making strategic decisions.

One of the key features of Scrap Riders is its unique mix of gameplay styles, combining old-school point-and-click adventure puzzles and dialogues with fast-paced Beat 'em up action. The retro art style, 16-bit soundtrack, and zany humor and references add to the game's charm. Players will also be able to explore a diverse range of environments, from wastelands to a neo-punk metropolis, as they uncover the secrets of this fascinating cyberpunk world.
