Next stop: Nintendo DS for all-new Hardy Boys adventure
Those Hardy Boys are hogging the spotlight these days. Hot on the heels of their first PC adventure, today Her Interactive and SEGA of America announced plans to collaborate on an all-new mystery for the Nintendo DS called The Hardy Boys: Treasure on the Tracks.
Her Interactive is no stranger to fictional teen detectives, of course, as the developer of the long-running Nancy Drew series. Frank and Joe Hardy made supporting appearances in a couple of Nancy's adventures, but here they'll be front and center investigating the missing Romanov family treasure aboard the luxurious Royal Express as it travels from Paris to St. Petersburg. As the train passes various European destinations like Vienna and Prague along the way, the brothers will need to "search for hidden clues, explore the train cars, interrogate passengers and solve interactive puzzles as they attempt to discover what happened to the 'lost' treasure and unlock the century old secret of the Romanovs."
While no firm release date for The Hardy Boys: Treasure on the Tracks has yet been announced, the game is currently scheduled for release some time next spring.
