Traitor’s Gate II to use Gamebryo

NDL, a developer of 3D graphics technology for the computer and video game industry, announced today that its Gamebryo technology is being used in The Adventure Company's upcoming Traitor's Gate II: Cypher.

NDL's 3D graphics toolkit and engine is helping developers create new hit titles such as Bethesda Softworks' Bloodmoon expansion pack for Morrowind, Codemasters' Dragon Empires and Mythic Entertainment's Imperator.

"Gamebryo is a framework for game development that gives teams the freedom to expand their production pipeline – it is not a "one size fits all" environment that forces you into a particular way of doing things," said Lars Bishop, Chief Technology Officer of NDL. "Because of this, developers using Gamebryo can spend their time on what they do best – creating great games."

Due to be released this Fall, Traitors Gate II: Cypher is the sequel to Traitor's Gate, which was released in 2000. Watch Adventure Gamers as we will follow the production of this title closely.
