Shenmue II previews
Adrenaline Vault and Game Revolution has put up their previews of the upcoming action/adventure for the Xbox, titled Shenmue II. Here's a clip from the Game Revolution preview:
The gameplay sticks to the game plan of the original by focusing on adventure elements in a truly vibrant, fully-functional world. The different NPCs move on their own schedules, and Ryo has the freedom to go after LAN DI or just laze the day away playing Pachinko and arcade games. The game features a functioning day/night cycle, a realistic weather system and more characters to interact with than just about any console game out there. Despite having completed the first game nearly two years ago, I'm still impressed by the game design.
