It’s basically what would happen if you mash the other two together into one game, because it has both people being trapped and forced into a life threatening situation (Zero Escape) and courtroom battles and murder mysteries (Phoenix Wright).

Writing composition.  Try it sometime.

And instead of random easter eggs please quote or cite sources of Developers where they mention their inspirations

How would you rate Doubt? I have read Liar Game up to 1/3 but stopped when I heard the ending is disappointing.

But is Doubt worth it all throughout?

As soon as it sets up a premise of people getting in a game and knocked unconscious and again same 999 or Dronpa setup i showed myself out
Didnt arrest my attention beyond that
Writing is poor and burned out with the setup, but thats relative opinion

But art was good and doubt emotion was handled well

If you want mostly similar Dronpa game with doubt on players playing the game and passing judgements to let yourself live and get others killed, you might find it interesting
However i dont know if beyond volume1 there is major twisting revelations

I just finished chapter 1. So far it ticks off all cliches. But the fact that this manga is so short(only 20 chapters) makes me want to continue on a little further and possibly finish it if it gets hard to put down.

The best ‘battle of wits’ manga I have read is Spiral. Huge recommendation.

I think bigger problem for me was limited cast characters , some of which died soon enough so that leaves not much to imagination
