My vote goes to Randal’s Monday.
Blackwell Epiphany.
Currently Playing: Dragon Age Origins: Awakening
Recently Played: Red Embrace: Hollywood, Dorfromantik, Heirs & Graces, AI: The Somnium Files, PRICE, Frostpunk, The Shapeshifting Detective (CPT), Disco Elysium, Dream Daddy, Four Last Things, Jenny LeClue - Detectivu, The Signifier
I vote for Nancy Drew 30. Number 31 was not very good however.
Blackwell Epiphany
Playing: 1) Broken Sword 5 2) Road 96
And another for Blackwell Epiphany
Life is what it is.
Broken Sword 5
Runner-up is Carol Reed: Bosch’s Damnation
and J.U.L.I.A. again, though I liked the ending of the first edition better.
J.U.L.I.A.: Among the Stars - I just finished this, and it’s a great game. Granted, it’s also the only 2014 game I played (and I’m fairly certain that I’ll love the Blackwell series as well), but it’s a deserved winner.

Maybe this time I can be strong, but since I know who I am, I’m probably wrong. Maybe this time I can go far, but thinking about where I’ve been ain’t helping me start. - Michael Kiwanuka
My vote goes to The Wolf Among Us. It is the peak of Telltale’s adventures, and one of their best games yet. Too bad it seems it didn’t sell good enough to warrant a sequel.
A little better year but just little and I am back in the poll…
Tex Murphy: Tesla Effect
Second Place:
Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishment
Honorable Mention:
Carol Reed: Bosch’s Damnation
The Capri Connection

Oh, dear. I haven’t played any of these games yet, so I won’t be voting.

DANGANRONPA: TRIGGER HAPPY HAVOC
I’ve enjoyed a lot of the games from this year & Moebius would have been my choice if I hadn’t recently played GK Sins of the Father Anniversary & Memento Mori 2 both worthy contenders. My vote probably would have gone to The Wolf Among Us if I wasn’t still partway through it but instead it goes to Memento Mori 2!
Good year!
*Broken Age: Act 1
*Broken Sword 5 - Although it didn’t really take the series or the characters anywhere, it was still fun enough to play.
*The Talos Principle
*The Wolf Among Us
DANGANRONPA: TRIGGER HAPPY HAVOC
I second that vote. Also Dangaronpa 2.
Both of these games have had huge amounts of sales, won many, many awards and have very high metacritic ratings.
I enjoy playing adventure games on my Alienware M17 r4 and my Nintendo Switch OLED.
