And yet the same problem exists in 1997. How do you explain that?

No Broken Sword on the list? Gasp That can’t be right. AFAIK it’s more popular than any of the other games here.

Congratulations on being critical with your first post. Way to go!

More than that: Broken Sword is one of the all-time bests and currently #4 on the AG Top 100. Positioning this game as one of those that didn’t make the cut just for the 1996 year is somewhat awkward Wink

Well, as administrator, you could have corrected things. (Or, at least sent me PM with your concerns.)

Could you be anymore butthurt over a games poll?

Just let someone less emotionally attached and with more a clue than you do the remaining polls and all will be well Thumbs Up

Could you possibly be more insulting, while under the guise of Thumbs Up being friendly?

OK! That’s it for me. Just had to get a few of these off my chest. Hope I didn’t offend anyone. Not that you cared about offending me, and my effort to keep the thread intact.

Karlok has taken over. 1997 suffers from the same problems. I wish her all the best.

Anybody who didn’t vote for Toonstruck in this poll hasn’t played it.

The point has been made. Let’s move on.
When a forum-member posts a poll, it’s his/her choice on how to make the selection for the games.
You can participate or not….but keep it friendly and civil!

Your assessment is wrong!
I know at least one (me) who played Toonstruck, but voted for another (better) game.

The explanation is simple: we had a cave troll.
It’s been taken care of.

How could you! Pan

I thought we had similar tastes in AGs! Pan

Move it to 2001 and I will happily vote for it Tongue

But against The Pandora Directive - NO WAY!

I voted for Toonstruck because it was so much fun to play, but two of my favorite first person games, Lighthouse and Timelapse, would make almost a three-way tie.  Amber also has to be mentioned because it was the first scary game I ever played.

I loved Amber, and Lighthouse, and Timelapse. If there was a doubt as to the validity of the randomness of the positioning, two of my favorite games were in the “Other” category.

I hope this thread scrolls off the front page and never returns.
