More LucasArts on GOG
They now have:
The Dig
Loom
Monkey Island 2 - Le Chucks Revenge Special Edition
Zak McKracken
Indiana Jones & The Emperor’s Tomb (if this one counts which it doesn’t for me)
Plus a couple of genuine non-adventure games
Life is what it is.
Outlaws!! been wanting to play it for years
Edit: Loom version is the same as Steam. No FM-TOWNS available
Edit2: Zak McKracken is the FM-Towns version (to be more precise Zak McKraken has both version)
I wonder if GOG can release FM-Towns verison for Loom as well, considering they did that for Zak.
So stoked!
Picked up Zak McKracken and Outlaws. I’ve been wanting to Buy these games for like 15 years. Glad to finally have them on my (digital) shelf!
Correct me if I’m wrong, but Zak McKracken is not voiced, is that correct?

Correct. Not voiced

Thanks, wilco. I’ll probably still pick this one up. Heard about it for years.
Hooray!
I’ve noticed something odd pertaining to certain games on GOG.com, though.
Why, for instance, is the logo of The DIG drawn in white instead of its previously familiar blue?
And why is the Gabriel Knight logo this particular one… previously only used in the demo version of the first game in the series?
Strange things are afoot.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken, / A light from the shadows shall spring, / Renewed shall be blade that was broken, / The crownless again shall be king.

Because that’s Brian Moriarty’s vers… oh no, just kidding!!!

Indiana Jones & The Emperor’s Tomb (if this one counts which it doesn’t for me)
No, but I enjoyed it. More than Full Throttle anyway.
^
Started to get really repetitive though. The only thing that got me to finish it was the Indiana Jones theme that would play during action sequences.
It’s pretty interesting that Zak is at the moment more popular in the GOG top seller list than the Dig, Loom and MI2.

Maybe because it’s rarer and was only released (and re-released) on floppy.
It never had a re-release on CD the way The Dig, Loom, and MI2 did.

If GOG ever releases Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade: The Graphic Adventure, it will be interesting to see how that does. According to Mobygames, the only CD version was a German re-issue.

True enough. Zak is one of those games that has been hard pressed to find. And especially because it’s the FM-Towns version people are even more interested.

That’s odd. I get to see a different menu screen for Gabriel Knight. The one with with a close-up of Gabriels face.
I think that Gabriel Knight menu screen is from an old demo version of the game. Or it might even be from the floppy version of it.
