I only played through QFG2, 20 years ago, with a walkthrough. I’ve owned the collection CD for about 16 years and haven’t played for more than a couple of hours.
The manuals recommend starting as a fighter, but what character would you recommend I start out with as a first-timer if I’m going to take him through all 4 games?
thief or magic user, maybe stick with magic user if you want to try being a paladin at some point… thieving stuff can get in the way of that.
