Adventure game scene… uh, game (continued)
I want this game. (whatever it is)
I think there’s an interactive fiction game called Zzz or Zzzz. Is this it, Phlebas?

Well done LadyK - It was indeed Zzzz!
I had it for the Spectrum - it had some memorable aspects but sadly wasn’t as fun to play as the screenshots looked. The same people did produce better games later though - they were a bit short due to memory constraints (for an indication: each of the screenshot images I posted was around 5 times the size of the computer’s entire memory!) but were fun and had an ambitious interface where you could point to words with a cursor rather than typing.
One of the reasons it came to mind is the mention of sleep. I often start at the end of the alphabet when looking for screenshots, and the title stuck in my mind, probably from Moby’s lists.
I’ll be back soon with a new pic.

Here’s a pretty summery entrance:

The entrance leads to classy-looking study:

Hmm. That wouldn’t be Temujin, would it?
Indeed it would be, Phlebas!

Looks like it’s my turn then!
Here’s another picture for you:
I wouldn’t have had a clue but following a tip-off from another thread you’ve posted on Phlebas it seems it is Beeswing?
It is indeed the sublime Beeswing which you should all try if you haven’t already - especially now that it’s free to play online!

Well done Chrissie - your turn!
I will get around to trying the game as I found at the very least the artwork quite appealing!
Next (not difficult!):
That’s Delaware St. John: Volume 3: The Seacliff Tragedy, right?
Right DarkEye! Over to you.
