There’s a joke about how small local football teams get to select their captain - whoever from the team manages to shoot the ball over the church, gets to wear the armband.
Now, this might be how the long jump/high jump athletic teams gets to select their members - whoever can jump over the… err… giant golden statue (?) makes the team.

The latest Carol Reed game. Bosch’s Damnation. Haven’t finished it yet, but got to this train wreck today and thought it a nice coincidence.
I would never have guessed it if I hadn’t been playing it right now.
