Since i was a backer on Torment , got early beta , i am satisfied with writing, music, choices etc but the whole setup feels more scifi, hope it goes high dark fantasy like Planescape or earlier artworks.

I have the PC version since some sale but have not played it. Probably will be more of the same. Are those retro skins coming to PC? Look fun

I played the Xbone version last year and really enjoyed it.
I thought it was a big improvement on the first one. There are a lot more side missions and open world stuff than the first one. MOre exploration, more tombs etc.
An adventure game is nothing more than a good story set with engaging puzzles that fit seamlessly in with the story and the characters, and looks and sounds beautiful.

What’s the word on Mafia 3? Read some good impressions but others complaining about repetitive stuff in the open world.
I liked Mafia 2 because of it’s story main missions and world around, didn’t care about the side stuff.

Get Gears 4 on PC.
Loving it so far, and i dont even like gears.
Mafia3 setting is cool as well as music and story but as you said its hampered by open world filler missions that are crap.
Protagonist is shit too.
