Firewatch by Campo Santo
A real adventurer can find it by himself. Search and you will find.
Hint1: Reviews of games which are not considered “real” adventures are not called reviews and the games in question get no stars. A remarkable and imo debatable policy.
Hint2: It’s under Features.
Solution: Here
Butter my buns and call me a biscuit! - Agent A
come on man, you are not worthy of that name.
Huh? Show me where it is?

The truth can’t hurt you, it’s just like the dark: it scares you witless but in time you see things clear and stark. - Elvis Costello
Maybe this time I can be strong, but since I know who I am, I’m probably wrong. Maybe this time I can go far, but thinking about where I’ve been ain’t helping me start. - Michael Kiwanuka

Well OK. But Adventuregamers seems to think it is not a review and it does not have a star rating

See Karlok’s “Hint 1” spoiler at the top of this page for the explanation.
Almost-adventures don’t get official reviews, they get a featured article without a star-rating instead.

You ask me where the review is and then you don’t bother to read my reply?
PLOINK!
Byebye troll.

Why don’t you direct your anger at TimoveMan, he ignored your post too.

Did you read Tim’s post? He specifically tells you to look at her Hint 1’s spoiler. That’s not exactly ignoring Karlok, is it?

See post #33.
Just drop it already, will you?
You asked where the review was, you got your answer. No need to keep taking this thread down an unnecessary path.

Alright, I get it. As soon as the site comes under criticism for a ridiculous policy of not reviewing/scoring certain games without anyone understanding why, an “administrator” steps in and censors it all. Don’t worry, I’m off. As you were, comrades.
It looks like Firewatch may be made into a movie.
However, it was the final moments of the game that put everything in perspective. I have a feeling the ending of Firewatch is going to stay with me for quite some time—probably for the same reason why many felt it was underwhelming. In the end, (light spoiler) Firewatch doesn’t indulge in cheap mysticism or romanticism. There is no happy ending, no running away from your problems, and no one to solve them for you.
Loved the ending too, hard on reality on your face
Meeting with D would have spoiled the game, considering her real existence and relationship with Ned makes half the story more thought provoking
Script and Voiceacting was terrific 10/10
Better than Lastofus for me
PS4 ver had lots of lags even after latest patch, but i absolutely loved the game, story and characters
Was about to miss axe and some offbeat paths led to Hideouts of important NPC
This is no walking sim, as much of a game as AG can be and navigating was problematic like real life Forests
They can make it into a movie but it will loose the personalized touch
Also hopefully movie complex wont distract efforts from next game
Its great how complex the narrative was yet so simple, lots of brainstorming and good theories online
My only problem was fence and invisible walls, i hope in future games they sort out way around level design, anyone can climb them small fence…or climb rocks and jump over
Inside,Firewatch,Rapture,EdithFinch,Brothers
Indies doing A tier storytelling
JosefFares next game is the only next big narrative punch in coming future??
Is there anything else
