Your most anticipated game - 2nd Half of 2014.
I’d have a better idea if I knew which games were actually going to be released (and not delayed).
Maybe

J.U.L.I.A. http://www.juliathegame.com/
Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments http://www.adventuregamers.com/games/view/23901
The Last Crown http://www.adventuregamers.com/games/view/25442
La Musica http://www.adventuregamers.com/games/view/25320
Of course the game from the latter half of 2014 that I actually end up liking the best may turn out to be something entirely different.

This game is going to be great!
I enjoy playing adventure games on my Alienware M17 r4 and my Nintendo Switch OLED.

I admit, before I played Moebius, I was also really expecting this. But after the poor overall experience I had with Moebius my expectations were lowered quite a bit.
And yeah, I am also expecting Broken Age part deaux, but there’s a good change it won’t make it this year.
My most anticipated games, even if I’m not sure they’ll all be released this year:
Catyph: The Kunci Experiment
Quadrilateral Cowboy
The Last Crown: Blackenrock
Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair
Fire
So there are quite a few games I am looking forward to this year and some really good ones have already been released like Blackwell Epiphany and The Samaritan Paradox. I thought that Moebius was okay, but I didn’t really get a chance to play The Tesla Effect or Broken Age but I hope to finish them before the end of the year, especially if Broken Age: Part 2 is coming out this year, but I have my doubts.
The first game scheduled for release that I am looking forward to is The Journey Down - Chapter Two, which being developed by Sky Goblin games and is scheduled for release Summer 2014. I played the first chapter a couple years ago when it was first released and really enjoyed it, although I forget what happened in it so I might have to replay the first chapter again before playing this.
A Golden Wake is being published by Wadjet Eye Games and is scheduled for release for Fall 2014. They have always been reliable with their releases and I have yet to be disappointed by them yet so I will preorder this game with confidence.
I played the demo for Gorogoa back when someone made a topic for it on here and I thought it was pretty neat although maybe more of a puzzle game. The website says that is will be released in Late 2014.
Now on for kickstarters, the release dates are of course less reliable and since they all have late 2014 release dates, I am keeping my expectations in check.
Read Only Memories by GaymerX also has great looking pixel graphics, an interesting interface and cyberpunk setting and a killer soundtrack by amazing chiptune artists so I have high hopes for this one. The kickstarter says it should be released in December 2014.
I am interested in Dead Synchronicity: Tomorrow comes Today which according to the kickstarter should also be released in December 2014. I didn’t get a chance to play the demo yet but the art style and dystopian sci-fi setting mean that it definitely has potential.
Lastly, the game I am most looking forward to this year is of course Dreamfall Chapters - Book One: Reborn. I have been waiting for a conclusion to Dreamfall since 2006 so this is going to be very exciting! I am going to replay The Longest Journey and Dreamfall this fall in preparation for the November 2014 release date.
The release date for Stasis has been pushed to February 2015 so that is no longer eligible, alas.
2014 is such a great year for adventure games - I have a policy of never buying PC games as a download - but buying download adventure games on my iPad mini has been so successful that I may break the rule dream fall chapters and broken age are such good games I want to play so badly that I might give it a go.
However I do have 54 games in backlog on the PC and Amazon has over 100 adventure games on DVD I’d love to buy so it could get by for quite sometime
But I also want gk 20th ananersary edition very badly - so we’ll see

Well, Broken Age is out on the iPad if you’d rather buy it there than on PC.
Crimes and Punishments for me, closely followed by Dreamfall Chapters. But I’m not into episodic adventure games so I will probably wait until they;re all out and then buy a bundle.
Oh and can I just say that I’m very happy that Windows is losing its monopoly as a gamer’s OS? It’s great that more and more games are released for all three major platforms at once!
Well, I just had to pick up Broken Age for ios. This game looks great. I will enjoy it along with Broken Sword also on ios.
