Would anyone play it though? Last time someone mentioned Infocom around here was probably 2002.

Heh, this sounds like a fun idea 
Be it ever finished or not, at least it could be a lot of fun.
I might contribute at some point in the summer when I have my thesis off my plate. Or even in small bits earlier.
I’ll definitely give feedback at least. I’m not the absolute worst writer or artist but I haven’t really honed those skills lately, and I doubt I’d really have the time to commit to a real project.

And he’s in league with Colpet who is trying to destroy all the 3rd person screenshots and only preserve the Myst clones!
I do think Jackal should make an appearance, maybe as God or something…

Advie, why on earth would that be my first line? Unless it was directed to you, that is. 
Nah, since you will play yourself and it’s in the game not the forums ,so instead of saying/doing (your famous act) ‘this discussion had gone really obnoxious and must end’ then close the thread ,you so can say-it at the game’ beginning (in Gary Owens style) and kill the hero .
