Probably Broken Sword: The Serpent’s Curse.

Followed by The Sleeping Dragon.

Recently completed: Game of Thrones (decent), Tales from the borderlands (great!), Life is Strange (great!), Stasis (good), Annas Quest (great!); Broken Age (poor)

DC is the Directors cut version of Broken Sword 1.

I’d say the newest one but I don’t know if my youth was a factor in the difficulty levels of BS1 & 2.

The new ones have a hint system, at least the first two. I’m taking a break to play some other games so I haven’t played the second two.

But Broken Sword II: The Smoking Mirror is an easy game.

Puzzles are really local, not a lot of locations. Sometimes they’re just stupid and they don’t give you clues or even give you negative clues, but there’s a limited amount of things to try. It’s not a great game, I’d say it’s about a third as good as the first game which is a great game. Not sure why you’re asking, but that’s my opinion.

Personally the second game is my own favorite. As far as the easiest… honestly they’re all rather easy. The hardest is the third simply for the reason that you can miss stuff that you can’t get back to and reach later, therefor running into deadends.

The last one, Serpents Curse since all the puzzles are selfcontained (meaning everything you need to solve a puzzle is already in the same location as the puzzle itself)

Yep, can’t go wrong with “The Serpent’s Curse” the hint system is so robust you will always be able to figure out what to do next.
