Everybody wants to be Cary Grant.
Even Me.

Anything by Telltale should suit you well.
I didn’t enjoy the telltale games very much and I didn’t think they were very easy. I thought The Lost Horizon wasn’t too hard. The Book of Unwritten Tales wasn’t terribly hard.
Well, the older ones, with the exception of Tales of Monkey Island, have all been pretty boring, frankly—so I agree with you there. The newer ones, like The Walking Dead, tell more gripping stories, but pretty much have no puzzles to speak of. You can easily play through the entire game on auto-pilot if that’s what you’re looking for.
Try Emerald City Confidential.
botanicula had some pretty straight forward puzzles. i didnt finish it though. need to someday.
id say dreamfall is pretty straightforward too. the longest journey was much harder but dreamfall played almost like an interactive movie. i just started a dreamfall replay last night. at newport. so engrossing. loving it all over again.
You could try out Tale of a hero and Alter ego made by future games, they’re really
on the easy side.Avoid any adventures from Daedalic Entertainment because their puzzles are insane sometimes.

future games adventure shouldn’t be considered easy , but then there are more of those than anything thing else these days .
Try Emerald City Confidential.
best choice.

There’s no easy adventure my friend.
“Going on means going far - Going far means returning”
It doesn’t get much better than this when it comes to quick, clean, easy and surprisingly fun adventure gaming:

Once you’ve gone through it maybe you can try it on the higher difficulty IF YOU DARE.
Edit: I have a bad habit of starting sentences with subordinate clauses. Yuck yuck yuck.
I’d say try some Nancy Drew adventure games, they have a beginner (junior) detective mode.
I’d say start with “Ghost Dogs of Moonlake”
I enjoy playing adventure games on my Alienware M17 r4 and my Nintendo Switch OLED.
Adventure games I liked are:
The Raven: Legacy of a Master Thief
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
These are not very easy but are an incredible play.
I also liked acheter gta 5 the action-adventure game.
brothers a tale of two sons, puzzles a bit too challenging
I’ve played hundreds of adventure games, and to be honest, I struggle to think of any adventure game that is easier, puzzle wise, than Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, except The Walking Dead and A Wolf Among Us by TellTale, but they don’t really have any puzzles in them. Maybe try Lilly Looking Through?
Duckman: Can you believe it? Five hundred bucks for a parking ticket?
Cornfed Pig: You parked in a handicapped zone.
Duckman: Who cares? Nobody parks there anyway, except for the people who are supposed to park there and, hell, I can outrun them anytime.
