Are they dark and spooky games or do their atmosphere remain in sunshine throughout the whole plot?

Thank you

Rose Tattoo - the MOST detailed Sherlock Holmes of the bunch. However, it also means that you should be prepared to read a lot and arm yourself with patience to examine each scene and go through a lots of dialog. It’s not “sunshine” nor “dark and spooky”, it’s closer to a classic Sherlock Holmes mystery take.

The Last Express - spooky only at times, but I’d say the right word is - tensed. It’s a pretty unique atmosphere because everything happens regardless of your actions.

Recently finished: Four Last Things 4/5, Edna & Harvey: The Breakout 5/5, Chains of Satinav 3,95/5, A Vampyre Story 88, Sam Peters 3/5, Broken Sword 1 4,5/5, Broken Sword 2 4,3/5, Broken Sword 3 85, Broken Sword 5 81, Gray Matter 4/5\nCurrently playing: Broken Sword 4, Keepsake (Let\‘s Play), Callahan\‘s Crosstime Saloon (post-Community Playthrough)\nLooking forward to: A Playwright’s Tale

How come, both of these games are T rated!?

Nothing too explicit or disturbing in them.

If you are looking for that kind of atmosphere you should definitely play Sherlock Holmes and the case of the serrated scalpel.

I don’t think OP was looking for dark and spooky, but simply wanted to know how dark or light Rose Tattoo and TLE are…

Rose Tattoo - ... you should be prepared to read a lot and arm yourself with patience to examine each scene and go through a lots of dialog.

You should also be an excellent darts () player.
Or be lucky enough to have Mr Bill () sending you a game saved right after the annoying darts part.

By the way, TLFoSH: TCotRT (The Lost Files of Sherlock Holmes: The Case of the Rose Tattoo) is NOT a spooky game. It’s just plain annoying at times (like most of the adventure games with STUPID action thrown in for bad measure*).

*Well, I can’t call it “good measure”.

Here’s a guy who would excel in TLFoSH: TCotRT:

Maybe.

The game has pity on its players. Pretty soon your opponent will start making one mistake after another. I managed to beat him, but it took some time.
