Dreamfall Chapters is part of a new bundle
https://www.humblebundle.com/jumbo-bundle-6
Pay more than average - $6.23 now… Game will be $1 by the time the last episode is out
I hate buying bundles for a single game. Can anyone say anything good about the other games there?
Shadowrun Dragonfall is good. It’s much better than the first Shadowrun Returns.
In a way I’m a bit pissed at the Dreamfall Chapters discount, by the time I start playing the game I could have bought it for very cheap instead of at the $75 I spent on Kickstarter… I pledged money because I want to support them but I do feel a bit cheated. They could at least have waited for the game to be finished before killing their resale value by dropping it in a bundle (also doesn’t seem to make much sense as it kills the publicity opportunities they will receive when the game is complete).

I also find this a bit odd, to say the least.
That a game ends up in a bundle or heavily discounted half a year after its release, that is what it is, but when it does so before the game is even finished, then something is seriously wrong.
It is like RTG haven’t realized that there are many players that don’t like episodic gaming, and will wait to buy / play the game until it is fully released.
You have to play the game, to find out why you are playing the game! - eXistenZ
I generally agree with you guys. It’s why I rarely pre-order these days, it’s just so often that they turn around and give like a 50% discount very soon after release.
I agree with you, it’s ridiculous to drop the price so much before the game is even released…
@Antrax
Like giom said, Shadowrun is very good, Magicka 2 is more of a action-RPG I think, good reviews but I think it might be better in co-op.
But if you only want Dreamfall Chapters I can send it to you since I’ll have the extra copy from the bundle
The thing is, I want studios like RTG to succeed that’s why I have money set aside for preordering and kickstarter. But seeing such a heady discount on a game that is not yet released and that I haven’t even played yet (I only played the first episode and I’m now waiting for the game to be finished) leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
I also question the wisdom of doing this since I strongly believe that by having had such a sale before the game is finished they left a lot of money on the table from players who do not buy an episodical game until it’s actually finished.
http://jeff-vogel.blogspot.com writes a lot about pricing for games and he talked once about the effect on preorders of future products of having a sale to soon.

Thanks! That would certainly also work
