This looks surprisingly good! Looks like it will be in 3d?

Hey,

glad you like it. Yep it is completely done in 3D. Ready for any game engine. My main focus is to transport the “old charming style” into today’s new gaming environments.

You can call this current status a “preview”...  Wink

Considering how great the first 2 Monkey Island HDs turned out, what’s stopping the other classic LucasArts games from being ported to iOS? Would kill to have DOTT, Full Throttle, Fate of Atlantis, etc on my iPad. They don’t even have to be remastered.

looks great!, too bad you won’t be able to get the license from Disney, ever…
But if you’re announcing a DOTT-inspired AG, I’m hugely interested!

Max: Right! We’ll travel through this dimensional portal on the top of the bar!
Sam: That’s spilled beer, rockhead.
Max: Oh in that case ...

There actually was some development done for DOTT HD before Disney bought Lucasfilm, but it was ditched soon after. BTW, Your version looks nice Zladd. The style works great in 3D.

That’s a huge bummer.

So what’s gonna happen to all those great LucasArts titles? Are they just gonna go in a landfill? Maybe Telltale could work out a deal with Disney one day…

There are a select few that can be purchased on Steam, but what will happen to the rest of their catalogue is anyone’s guess.

Disney should do like Square-Enix is trying to do and allow developers to pitch their ideas for the old IPs and do some crowd funding for new games.

The Dott remake looks good.

In fact, they said it was about 80 % done at the time.
