The Vortex Factor (1985) is an old school text adventure originally released for the TRS-80 CoCo and eventually for the PC as pictured above. It has a very simple two word parser system and is of the format of the very earliest text adventures in that you simply have to collect treasures for points by exploring and solving puzzles. The theme is one of time travel and you have to collect those treasures from various points in time, from ancient Egypt to a post-apocalyptic future after a nuclear holocaust.

I can’t imagine games like this have any appeal to the modern player, but it’s always good to have a sense of history. Also, the screenshot above contains a reference to another game by the same company called Trekboer, which was released the previous year.
