Adventure Game Scene of the Day — Friday 06 September 2013
The Day the World Broke (1997) is an edutainment game illustrated by David Wiesner that will have you journeying to the center of the earth to try to fix some serious problems occurring on the surface of the planet.
I was unfortunately never able to finish it due to a game crash near the very end of the game that I couldn’t get past. I even have two copies of the game with different version numbers, but the result is the same on both. Sucks to be me. The art was nice and the world quite imaginative though. I enjoyed the 98% of the game I was able to play.
So it’s basically The Core but without the camp (and with a nasty game-breaking bug near the end)???
