Most recognisable adventure game scene?

Just wondering what you guys think is the most recognisable adventure game scene of all time. Like, a background that on seeing it most adventure game fans would recognise and know what game it is from. Or, even better, if there were something non adventure gamers would recognise too.

The ones that come to mind to me are:

Broken Sword 1

Kings Quest 1

Maybe Monkey Island?

I agree with SoMI, but even then I still think there would be a lot of non-adventurers who wouldn’t recognise it. There are a lot of casual and action gamers who have no idea adventure games exist.

Regular gamers in general have no idea who any of these games are, I fear.

<insert Walking Dead screenshot>

From ‘classic’ games, I’d think most would struggle to recognise any scenes outside of the SCUMM Bar, Lefty’s and the Tentacle (maybe the King’s Quest 1 castle).

Someone needs to make a Sporcle puzzle, then you can see what percentage of people guessed correctly Grin
