Hey all. I made a sci-fi adventure game called “Stowaway” for Adventure Jam 2022 (2 weeks). It’s free, short (< 30 min) and relatively simple. It has full voice acting by the amazing Travis Baldree and a lot of polish.

It’s my own small adventure engine in Unity. I’d love if you gave it a spin and let me know what you think.

Yeah. That’s an adventure I enjoyed playing. Nice effort. Could be nice as a full fledged game or a series of smaller completed adventures. It reminds me that the Star Trek adventures could have been so much better (content, interface, tech). They could have made seasons with completed episodes too.

Pros:
+ dark toned science fiction with some gore and humor.
+ nice graphics, sounds and voice acting.
+ no fuzz, direct access.
+ I can’t use ‚those‘ two things together.
+ storage bay manifest.


Cons:
- lack of a challenging puzzle
- flying around above the ship but okay (I would have loved to utilize the beam)
- inventory opening (due to cursor position) whilst flying through space
- sometimes atmos sounded rough


Glitches (web):
- SetCursor issues
- text alignments in the intro
- the screen went dark when I tried to exit storage (walk around: exit, reenter)
- I guess after finishing the game wasn’t in its initial state

Great game!  This could well be the best Adventure Jam ever in terms of quantity *and* quality of entries, gonna take a while to get through them all
