Non-Holmes Victorian London Mystery/Detective Games
Finished Lamplight City - loved it! Does anyone know of similar games with a Late Victorian look and feel? Hopefully with a Pre-Holmes C. Auguste Dupin type character.
I also loved Lamplight City, played it twice. The only other recommendation is Syberia, it’s worth a try, anyway.
Why did you play it twice? Also, can you recommend some other games that have a similar aesthetic, tone and tenor to ‘Lamplight City’? I noticed you have a screenshot of ‘Broken Sword’ as your profile pic—is it a good game? Is it like LC?
I’d try Alter Ego, it’s pretty similar. I played it twice because it has different endings. And yes, Broken Sword is very good. No, it’s not similar to LC.
I enjoy playing adventure games on my Alienware M17 r4 and my Nintendo Switch OLED.
