The Best Adventures of 2013: PC-GAMER exposes their excitement about the 365 days to come
05 January 2013 06:47 AM #16
They don’t seem bias - defining point and click adventures as hoary is probably more accurate than we like to admit at times.
Besides, they’ve mentioned two adventure games in their ‘most anticipated for 2014’ page: http://www.pcgamer.com/2013/01/01/2013-preview/13/
The future looks bright.

I must say I much prefer the “less thorough” PC Gamer’s list since it features my own upcoming adventure game and the other list doesn’t. Nice of them to have noticed it.

Sorry for the double post.
There were a bunch of games on the PC Gamer list I hadn’t heard of and that looks really good. Two of the games that I found especially interesting was Sarcia and Stasis.

I agree concerning Stasis. That’s the one I’m looking forward to the most.

Sorry about the advertising. I can’t help it. I took a liking to that game…

That’s odd. Somehow I always thought he went to 2015…
Remind me to watch that trilogy again…

Is it just me or does The Raven look a lot like the animated movie The Polar Express?
Look, it’s Tom Hanks:

That’s a much longer list than I was expecting considering it’s a “best” list. I am most looking forward to Broken Sword, lesir, and DFA, but I suspect I will end up purchasing a lot of these.

Sefir - 04 January 2013 08:06 AMI find very interesting the fact that no Daedelic games (Deponia 3, The Rabbit’s apprentice) were present…
Unless I missed something (sarcasm?) or the list has been updated since, this leaves me buffled. I’ve spotted both these games plus 1954 Alcatraz on their list
Anyway, mostly the fact that a lot of them seem to appeal to my personal tastes and less so the impressive number of them fills me with hope that a new all-time favourite might be waiting for me in 2013. My money is on Project Fedora, DFA, Goodbye Deponia and The Rabbit’s Apprentice.
No good deed goes unpunished
