Which adventure game character’s line is it anyway?

Pretty sure that’s a dialogue exchange between Zanthia and a fairy ferryman from Kyrandia 2, although I don’t recall this word “Morningmist” - sounds like a beautiful name for a town.

As a kid, I thought the ferry being a fairy (with a nice belly and a bad mood) was a nice touch. And figuring out the windy woof as a non-native speaker made me feel a bit clever.

Solved it by throwing everything I had in that cauldron which - surprisingly - worked.

I could have sworn Dalboz says the snapdragon needs a chill pill. I remember because I’d never heard of chill pills and thought the game had made up a funny word.

It probably depended on when or how often you clicked on the snapdragon.

You get the chill pill comment when you first meet the snapdragon. This is what Dalboz says when you already got hold of it (a close-up of the item in the Frobozz Magic Viewer™).

I have two of the Bone games and tried both but never finished either. Are they any good?
You got it, VP! The words in the blanks are Bone and Boneville. I played the first game, which is fairly short, and loved the characters and the humor. In fact, I ended up getting Jeff Smith’s book Bone: The Complete Cartoon Epic in One Volume. It is terrific!
