Adventure game scene… uh, game (continued)
Can’t quite make up my mind on getting Cloudpunk. Seems like could be a really good-looking parcel delivery simulator with not much else… Still on the fence.
Superb atmosphere and highly memorable characters, great voice acting and music. If you add those, I’d probably agree with you. I’d say it’s my GOTY so far, but don’t get it if you’re looking for puzzles.

Well, if you rate is as high as GOTY so far for you, I’ll give it another hard look. I’m not looking for puzzles, no, just didn’t want it to be pure sim, but I do appreciate a well-developed atmosphere and good VO and music.
Next image for “the game”:
Happy 4th, 2020!

I found that creepy face on Adventure Treff. It’s Decay: The Mare. It looks like a disturbing game.
I don’t really rise and shine. I caffeinate and hope for the best.
You are correct Lady Kestrel!
It’s a creepy fixed movement adventure from Daedalic (which I didn’t expect). Some elements are pretty wonky, and the puzzles are on the easier side, but they got the atmosphere right - it has some good scare moments and the story is quite dark.
this looks interesting and so I bought it from Steam - it was 49 cents. i figure for that cheap price, it has to give me a few moments of fun.

Yeah, I bought it for around one buck as well. I think it’s hard to be really disappointed for this kind of money, even if you won’t like it.
I enjoyed it more than I thought I would, so I’d be interested to know what you think. Like I said, the atmosphere was well-done, and that’s what made the game an entertaining experience.
Also edit: I realized AFTER I wrote “Happy 4th!” that many people on this forum are from different countries (some days I’m slower than others) and might not have an idea/any kind of reason to celebrate 4th of July, so as a correction: “Happy 4th to all my co-USA-ers! And Happy whatever day you’re having in whatever corner of the world you are in right now!

I think it’s rather Time Gentlemen, Please!
Bwark! GateKeeper got it!

OK, nice. Let’s see how easy or hard this one is:
At the risk of boring everyone’s pants off I’ll say it again: HARD and EASY are relative terms.
It could always be worse, remember that.
mjp
Well it seems that everyone’s relatives have taken their pants off and found this so hard that no one even dared to make a guess so far. So let’s make it a bit easier.
Here are five hint points:
1. It’s an indie game.
2. It can be described as an experimental or hybrid game.
3. In its own league, it has received several award nominations for its technical execution.
4. The screenshot presents the climax of the game.
5. It is an early work of a developer, who has later created an award-winning science fiction/cyberpunk game that all of you have probably heard about.
Damn, I’m sure I’ve played this. I can’t remember the name…Something with “spy” in the title?
