Okay, enough social media for now. One has to go…
I have a supoerpower: I am immune to addictions.
Used to frequent casinos when I was young, stopped doing it because I got bored.
Used to smoke for 3 years, dropped it because I didn’t feel like it anymore.
Got my first smartphone 4 years ago. My usage intensity over the years has consistently gotten less and less to the point that I average about 5 minutes a day that I am behind my phone. Got sick of whatsapp, the gaming on phone fad has passed over, since I am using the same smartphone for 4 years it has slowed down with all the updates so it’s too slow for convenient web browsing. And I wouldn’t want it any other way.

What about soccer?

What about soccer?
Fair enough.

I try to watch the TV when I have it on but I often do other things as well at the same time. Not only social media but also cleaning, petting the rabbits, repairing stuff… whatever I think is necessary to do.
At what point does being inspired turn into obsession?
Here what i was talking about copy cat culture,
Social commentary on our culture or behavior, traveling around the world just to recreate what you saw online or rather you have money to gather attention?
From Cosplay culture to protests to these creepy behaviors, people are just infected
virally….Kamui51
Ha, I do that all the time. If there’s a slow moment in the TV show or movie, I’ll grab my phone and see what’s up. Actually some interesting figures on social media, like how each network is viewed, at least in marketing. Read through this if you’ve got a chance.
This was about Google+:
“According to a study, over 90% of the 2.5 billion users have never made a single post public.”
And YouTube
“A total of 6 billion hours of video are watched on YouTube every month.”
Pretty crazy.
