You’ve got caves there? What kind of caves Smile

The underground kind. :p

Glad to hear you shall be joining us Mr Lacey, regardless of mood.

I shall book the caves tomorrow.

What makes you think I’d wear such a subtle shirt, even for a weekend job Lucien?  Laughing

Right, I should be around in Hastings from 1012 until 1955. Though I warn you all that I’m in a generally morose mood atm, and I don’t expect to have kicked that by the weekend (so my apologies in advance).

Well played sir!

Any other last minute entrants?

You lucky woman! Please make as many pictures as you can and show them to me! That holds for all of you participants, of course!

And indeed, congratulations Fantasie on your updated status!

You’re in Hastings already? Need any recommendations or are you happy to wing it?

I would recommend going up to battle and doing the full audio tour of the Abbey. Provided the weather is good (and it promises to be this week) it is really enjoyable.

Thanks guys!

The wedding was great. Official pictures aren’t back yet, but I can show you some on Facebook at the get together. It was just as I imagined, even though little things went wrong like Louie losing his voice.

I’ll take lots of pictures and video diaries, and get it to you some how tsa. Smile

Step-We’re happy to wing it, thanks though. We just needed a base to stay at for a few days, and since we’re going to be in Hastings on the 26th already…Any suggestions for something we could do in Hastings?

Thanks Fantasie!

Another thing: I was wondering about the Skype meeting. When will you try to have that Step?

Moth Hunting?

My planned tour for the Saturday mostly takes in the Old Town, so it is up to you if you want to explore it a bit yourself anyway. Well worth a look if you’re in town already. It is to the East end of Hastings.

Hastings Museum has a very good exhibit on maps at the moment.

Alexandra Park is well worth checking out. It is a good green space within the town and has a nice cafe in it.

You should get one of the Hastings detailed maps. 50p from the Tourist Information Center in the town hall. Alternatively PM me a name to ask for, and I can drop one in at the hotel for you after work tomorrow. (I have copies for everyone so we don’t lose people on the Saturday)

You’re charming as well, Step.

Although I will admit, Louie and I found your accent to be quite thick and had a bit of trouble understanding some of it. So if we just smile and nod on Saturday, don’t mind us.  Wink

Oh, and for those of you who wanted a picture of the wedding, I hope you don’t mind me hogging this page for just a bit…
