Journeyman Project, number 2 or 3?

Oh, I think you’re right. I remember a pot-maker in 3 at the beginning of the game.

I think Doom’s gone AWOL though.

I’m back at forums and you nailed it, Karlok and Luhr28! It’s Legacy of Time with Arthur’s comments on things and people you encounter during your visit to Atlantis, Shangri La and El Dorado.

I suck at this, but I was so glad I recognized one that I couldn’t resist posting. I hope the next game has not been used.

All my life I felt helpless. Cheated. Stepped on. I was always the little man. The square peg. The forgotten one. But that night everything was gonna change. I was tired of just sitting around, accepting my fate. A rat-hole apartment, a dead-end job. So I decided to do something about it
.

It’s not Bad Mojo is it? I hardly remember anything from that game except the geeky guy and it sounds like it could be him at the beginning. Because it’s surely not the cockroach Laughing

It most certainly is Bad Mojo. Forever in my pre-2000 top ten. Your turn, Luhr.

PS: Playing as a cockroach is quite an experience. Crawling over food, human faces and icky objects like toilet seats is fun. Clever puzzles too: Look Mum, no hands! One of the most original adventure games.

Agreed. And so simple! Those were the days…

I’m stumped.

Lol I wouldn’t expect to see a wino in a 3+ adventure for kids.

It’s in the latest installment, Sam’s life took a dark turn after the pressure of being a perfect role model proved a burden too heavy to bear.

It’s called “Pajama Sam: Grow Into Hyde When It’s Dark Outside”.

Pyjama Sam?

No. I mean, it could be a line in Pyjama Sam but since I haven’t played Pyjama Sam I couldn’t tell you. It’s not in the game I had in mind.

Here’s another:

Hey, I’ve never seen you around here before. Have you paid all your taxes? Do you pay tax on sudation and body odour? And the tax on dust, created by moving around? And the tax on shadows, created by your body mass? And the tax on pollution created by your gluttonous and putrid breathing?

Okay - I’m gonna have a genuine guess this time.  Is it Disco Elysium?

Not Disco Elysium. That’s another one I haven’t played (yet).

Keep guessing! You may get lucky.

I’m amazed nobody has recognized Woodruff and the Schnibble of Azimuth yet, so I’ll name it. Those are the words of wino from Wino’s alley and tax collector from a grarbage can.

I’ll leave a quote from another game:

“This place, called Dreamland, had once known a golden age. But too many crimes and mysterious disappearances led our mindful authorities to close it down after it’s manager and creator, Theodore More - that’s me by the way - passed away.”

A: You know I made a pact. I wanted the park to be a success. I still believe this place has much to offer to the world.
B: And for that you sold your soul…
A: No, the price was somewhat higher than that.
B: Higher?
C: Theodore has agreed to replace me.
B: Is this another of your tricks, demon?
C: Not at all. Three thousand years spent in the company of men is a hell of a long time.
