I’m more concerned that 99% of the screenshot is cropped out, and you posted only 1%. If you’re trying to fool Google image search, that’s fine, but if you’re trying to fool us 
Anyway, I’m gonna guess King’s Quest 5 just because there’s a castle in it.

The colour palette of the 1st pic made me think of the intro to Broken Sword but I think the game is Conquests of the Longbow: The Legend of Robin Hood.
I’m more concerned that 99% of the screenshot is cropped out….

The reasoning was much simpler I’m afraid. Yes in part to fool google, but mostly because I wanted to put up a cross on a castle because it looked neat.
