The truth can’t hurt you, it’s just like the dark: it scares you witless but in time you see things clear and stark. - Elvis Costello
Maybe this time I can be strong, but since I know who I am, I’m probably wrong. Maybe this time I can go far, but thinking about where I’ve been ain’t helping me start. - Michael Kiwanuka

Thief yeeeah I understood the references, high five guys.
Just left Copenhagen after a 4 day vacation and I truly loved it. The Danish people are very warm and friendly, and we felt welcome everywhere we went. Throughout our stay, I did not see a single angry person. It truly felt like the happiest country on earth(or is it second happiest now?) The city is beautiful and I like how all the landmarks are all within walking distance. I was surprised how clean the canals are compared to other countries I’ve visited. The boat tour was definitely the highlight of our trip. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to visit Tivoli because it was closed in preperation for Halloween. We should have done better planning, but we were used to Disneyland were they switch to Halloween decorations overnight and never close. I love how there is no tip and the tax is included in your bill, yet that did not affect the service at all. In that sense, it is very similar to Japan(where people run after you if you leave them a tip to give it back ). The only drawback I found was the cost of stuff. Things were definitely more expensive than it is in the US, so we had to cut down on restaurant food to stay within our budget.
So, in Spain right now they’re physically stopping people voting. Surely that breaks EU law?

Agree with this, seems like immigration is hurting Amsterdam

Not when the vote itself is illegal. I’m not condoning the violence, but they needed to do it the right way.
When Scotland had it’s indepence referendum we had to ask the UK goverment for permission to hold it. We got permission, Catalan didn’t.
An adventure game is nothing more than a good story set with engaging puzzles that fit seamlessly in with the story and the characters, and looks and sounds beautiful.

The stuff of legends.
Amsterdam canals have looked the same as always. XD
Erroneously claiming how a Jewish community is being oppressed in Istanbul, randomly bringing up me being Turkish in another discussion….I am sensing a recurring theme.
Racist towards specific ethnic groups much? This is gold lol.

When did that happen?
Dude you are running out of attention grab arguments

Not that. Actually hurting people. That goes against the law to be a member of the EU and should be thrown out for it. The vote is illegal so just ignore the result, but nothing gives the Spanish gov right to actively hurt it’s own people.
I voted to remain in the EU, but I’m not exactly thrilled with the EU’s behaviour or lack of attention to each members needs. This is just another example of them looking the other way.

Wow so sad. We really need better gun control laws in the US.

Now 50+ dead
Assault rifles and snipers make no sense, he shot them down from this position

Just limit guns to specific handguns or shotguns
It’s sadly too late for gun control. All they (or any gov) can do make it very difficult for people to get them. Even if they banned them, there’s that many floating around the market would simply go underground I suspect.
“And you if you still have hope in humanity.”
Lost it years ago.
Regarding the EU/Spain:
The EU have said they’re ignoring it in short. Disgusting really.

So gut wrenching. What effed up times we live in.
Sonny Melton, R.N., was killed when a gunman opened fire on a music festival crowd from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, his employer, Henry County Medical Center in Paris, Tennessee, said. According to White House press secretary Sarah Sanders, he died shielding his wife, Dr. Heather Melton, who survived.
“When the bullets began raining down, Sonny shielded her from danger, giving up his life to save hers,” Sanders said at Monday’s press briefing.
Heather Melton, an orthopaedic surgeon, told NBC affiliate WSMV her husband saved her life. “He saved my life. He grabbed me and started running when I felt him get shot in the back,” she said. “I want everyone to know what a kind-hearted, loving man he was, but at this point, I can barely breathe.”
