I wonder if the forumites represent all the visitors of this site well enough.
that is a great Point!, but aren’t we the Die Hard Fans… i guess each of our votes should be counted for two, maybe three
Scott Murphy and Mark Crowe coming together like David Lee Roth and Eddie Van Halen after almost 20 years
well True,..... but I pissed myself with excitement more with Chicken Foot
I gave my vote to Amnesia:A Machine for Pigs.I simple like the previous game way too much to resist giving my vote to its sequel.

10. Tengami looks interesting
I Am the Knight of the Order of the Sun!
I voted for Asylum but it would actually be 3rd on my list.
1) Xing
2) The Five Cores
3) Asylum
4) Amnesia: Machine for Pigs
5) Dreamfall Chapters (If and when released)
I personally think Xing is going to be big once it gets closer to release. We need more Myst like games.

We need more Myst like games.
We need more Myst games!

2. Tex Murphy - Project Fedora
3. Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs
4. Beyond: Two Souls

9. Mystery Game X
10. Asylum
There are certainly more adventure games I’m looking forward to now than there ever has been in a long time!
I woted for Tex Murphey, but i could just as well have voted for Moebius or Double Fine or ..., there really is a lot of fine games to look forward to.
I wonder if the forumites represent all the visitors of this site well enough.
I doubt it, the active forum users here, are most likely more hardcore adventure gamers, than the average visitor.

I most certainly don’t
You have to play the game, to find out why you are playing the game! - eXistenZ

~ Flight Of The Amazon Queen ~ Best Adventure ever!
it seems that Beyond: Two Souls have no place here, i actually dont know what is this game! and never bothered too, strange!
it’s Quantic Dream’s new game. I would have been expecting it with pleasure, but I have no Play Station… the reason i haven’t played Heavy Rain yet
I feel like the only one who voted for Schafer… would give my vote to The Cave and Primordia as well.
Voted on Moebius since I know more about the details of the actual game in that then I know about DFA. The adventure game I´m really most hyped about is Ron Gilberts The Cave, but since that wasn´t a choice I went with Moebius.
1. The Cave
2. Moebius
3. DFA
4. Broken Sword: The Serpents Curse
5. The Witness
7. R.G. says The Cave is an adventure game
It is. Kotaku did a playthrough of the PAX demo and wrote an article just about what they saw and how they interacted in the game. Everything in there describes an adventure game.

In that case, it definitely belongs on my list.
I Am the Knight of the Order of the Sun!
Regarding the controls in the Asylum teaser:
They are unbearably slow when the video card isn’t that fast. This was an oversight of mine and of course will be fixed in the final game. The pacing is actually pretty smooth and speedy on most Macs and Windows with newer video cards.
We will probably use this teaser to deliver improved versions of the Dagon engine and making sure the game works perfectly for everyone
The Linux version needs more work at this point, but we’re fully committed to support the most popular distros!
More updates soon…

I woted for Tex Murphey
Shame on you (I mean, you being obviously a GF fan)! I find it extremely hard to believe that anyone can create a better game than the author of DotT, Full Throttle, Grim Fandango, Psychonauts… Maybe Jesus Christ, but he doesn’t do AG’s (AFAIK).
It could always be worse, remember that.
