What first person game to play with girlfriend
I showed her reviews here of 4 games so far. Testament, Witness, JULIA, and Dark Fall Lost Souls. She wants to try Witness and Julia the most. Now just have to decide on an inventory/third person game to try after. She seems, like me, to be more interested in puzzles.. doing a third person inventory game with someone might not work nearly as well as a first person… Just because of the style of puzzles. So, maybe I’ll just stick with the first person ones for now. I had very fond memories of doing Zork Nemesis with a friend as a teen.
Danganronpa. Entertaining plot, lots of cool characters.
Dude , comeon.
These wacky over the top jap games are an acquired taste.
Esp counting lost in translation, jap cultural aspects.

Scifi/Horror, who knows, might like anime. Might be too text heavy to play in group.
But if puzzles is what you are looking for Witness is clearly the answer.
Might also recommend Blackstone Chronicles for a horror game with inventory
Also, where does Testament of Sherlock Holmes fit? It is first person inventory?
Playing through Testament of Sherlock Holmes right now, in fact. I’m about halfway through.
The inventory is accessible via shortcut key ‘i’, or on-the-fly via mousewheel.
The camera is switchable anytime (with the ‘r’ key) between 1st person, 3rd person chase cam, and 3rd person similar to Grim Fandango. So, you can play as you like.
It’s not outright “horror”, but it does have a fair amount of gore—some of which you’ll have to search through and interact with.

Is Life is Strange really 1st person?
No, it isn’t.
You’re right, sorry. I thought it was like the Tex games: first person with third person cutscenes, but no. Still a great game though.
