The photo thread
Day 4
Decided to get a better view of the Glennfinan Viaduct and the train.
Later that day we decided to find a nice easy walk so drive right to the end of Glen Nevis, along some really narrow and windy single track roads (Avoiding the ongoing triathlon that was using that route) to what the guide book said was a fairly sedentary 45 min walk (90 min round trip) to the Steall falls.
When we got there
It wasn’t that bad it was a very steep climb and clambering over rocks (one of my party decided quite early to turn back), but even in the rain I thought it was nice climb.
When you got to the top though it opened out into an unspoiled flat valley where I was expecting Rachael Welch and some Trex’s to pop out, but no suck luck.
The falls themselves were impressive
Day 5
Say goodbye to the fun in the outdoors and a nice lesuirly drive home awaited.
It was a fun few days that I would love to do again soon. Proving again that Scotland is one hell of a holiday destination for scenery and outdoor activities.
An adventure game is nothing more than a good story set with engaging puzzles that fit seamlessly in with the story and the characters, and looks and sounds beautiful.

Great pics, Lucien! I especially like the one with the Viaduct (what a fascinating place) and the one from inside the train
Nice pics of a beautiful area.
Although I have visited Orkneys & Shetland Isles, I have never really spent much time in mainland Scotland except for Edinburgh. Clearly another destination to add to the list!

Great pictures Lucien! Scotland is so beautiful I’ve visited Arran and a couple of beautiful villages in the southers part of the highlands and would love to go back some day.

The truth can’t hurt you, it’s just like the dark: it scares you witless but in time you see things clear and stark. - Elvis Costello
Maybe this time I can be strong, but since I know who I am, I’m probably wrong. Maybe this time I can go far, but thinking about where I’ve been ain’t helping me start. - Michael Kiwanuka
Wow, that’s just epic!

Beautiful pics, Lucien and Jelena!
In the white house in this picture I spent the first three years of my life. It was smaller when I lived there. They put an extra floor on top of it, and that super ugly thing above the front door. Its environment has changed even more, but the street where the house is in looks pretty much the same as I remember it from 43 years ago.
