As the title says, i cannot start a new topic in the Adventure Games forum. The button text is red, it lets me compose a text, but, gives an error message You are not authorized to perform this action when trying to submit. I can start new topics in all the remaining forums tho.

As I am a new member I checked in the Rules and guidelines if it perhaps has something to do with that, but I didn’t find anything. Also googled and tried to search here with no result.

Anyone can please explain or help? 

I am using URLs, but the button is red by default before i put any text in. Also, I thought maybe waiting a couple of days would help, but apparently no.

I tried to access the website from my phone, the button was white and all seemed finally ok, I tried just to click it if it works and did not post anything. When i hit return to the previous page, it was red as well.

So I tried to create a new account as i thought that this one may be “tainted” but the issue is the same. By default, I am not allowed to post into the Adventure forum.

Could it be perhaps my localization?

So I tried to start a new topic in General discussions and as well as in Adventure, I am not authorized to post anything. I did not include any links, nothing, just pure text.

Can someone please explain to me what’s wrong? This is extremely frustrating.

Unfortunately this is the kind of thing that only CaliMonk can look into.

It’s not something we’ve had happen to anyone before.

If there is anything I can do to help resolve this, please let me know.

I’m getting the exact same error. I tried to create a post in the “Adventure” forum to present the project I’m working on.

This post contains image URLs (hosted on my webspace), a Kickstarter link, a Facebook link and a link to the games homepage. And as a result I’m getting the “You are not authorized to perform this action” error.

That is a great pity. But it makes no sense to present a game without pictures or a homepage link. Or with just a wall of text.

Edit: I tried removing all links from my new thread and I tried uploading the images to IMGUR and using these image links. And tried reducing the image URLs in my posting from 9 to 5. I even tried to remove ALL images from my post. All without luck. I guess the Spam service used here hates me. Maybe there is some keyword in my text which is being recognized as spam? I really have no idea. 

Edit 2: I got it working! Yeah! I had to remove all smileys used in my text! I guess the spam service does not like humor (or Unicode characters)...
