Smileys displayed as code rather than image (only when logged in)
It happened at the very beginning of the new forums, Marek fixed it, but it seems to be happening to me again today.

I’ve been going on without smileys for 6 months now, so clearly it’s not the end of the world, but still I thought I’d bump this thread again, just in case there’s a chance Marek will spot it.
Somehow your user account preferences were set not to display smileys. I’ve changed this in the admin so you should see them now.

And they’re gone again! I swear they were working this morning but now they’re not. One thing I did that may be related is that I went into my preferences and changed something there (re-enabled PMs). Could that have reset that hidden pref to “don’t show smileys” somehow?...
Yes, I think that’s definitely related. There must be a bug there. I’ll investigate, and have reset the setting manually in the meantime

Don’t do anything and these forums will work fine.
It could always be worse, remember that.
