And happy to answer any questions!
Well, since you asked…
Is it scary? It looks scary.
AKA Charo
It’s disturbing… like a very visceral horror pod cast or novel. We dont have any jumpscared - but worked hard to create a lot of tension in the game!
FINALLY. Thank you! This has been on my most anticipated games list since the day it was announced. Can’t wait!
Thank you so much!
Here’s a project I have every faith in.
Can’t wait to see how unsettling the Stasis universe is this time.
Graphics look spot-on again. But I expect nothing less with Chris’ artistry.
The truth can’t hurt you, it’s just like the dark: it scares you witless but in time you see things clear and stark. - Elvis Costello
Maybe this time I can be strong, but since I know who I am, I’m probably wrong. Maybe this time I can go far, but thinking about where I’ve been ain’t helping me start. - Michael Kiwanuka
Tomorrow!
Hey everyone!
We launched Bone Totem yesterday!
You can check the links here - http://www.stasis2.com/
GOG are currently running a really good deal where you get the supporters pack with the regular base game.
Some of the reviews have dropped - so please check em out to see if its the sort of game you’d enjoy!

Also happy to ask any questions you may have!
Anyone know how it plays on a steamdeck??
Just started, half an hour in.
I admire the amount of effort so far. It feels like one of those bigger budget games from the late 90s or 00s, big Sanitarium vibes.
What I’m not loving is the darkness. It’s so dark I feel like the graphic detail is lost on me and I’m walking from glowing hotspot to hotspot. If it didn’t have voice acting (which is very good) it might as well be a text adventure.
Too early to give a verdict though.

We’ve tested it extensively on the Steamdeck. Infact, 10% of our current players are playing on the deck.

Nice! I would not have believed it a year ago, but it has become my primary gaming device

If you take a look at the ACCESSIBILITY menu, you can turn off the FOG and it will make the scenes much easier to see.
I’ve just begun playing Bone Totem. Looks great so far. I turned off the “hints” option in the ACCESSIBILITY menu. There are no explanation as to what this does, but I want my games as free from “outside” hints as possible. What does leaving this option “on” do exactly?
If you return to a puzzle a few times, an icon will appear on the top right of the screen.
Pressing it will give you a hint to complete the puzzle.
If you do put it on, the hint is still totally optional.
Thanks!
