Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

Forgive me for my ignorance, but why is it called Rise of Skywalker? Wasn’t that the story of the first 3 movies?
Forgive me for my ignorance, but why is it called Rise of Skywalker? Wasn’t that the story of the first 3 movies?
Best guesses:
In a literal sense: Kylo Ren also has Skywalker blood
In a metaphorical sense: Luke is one with the Force and the brewing resurgence of the Rebellion could very well be in his name, i.e. his legacy.
If however Rey turns out to have Skywalker blood after all, I’ll want J.J. Abrams’ head on a pike. 
Even if “Kylo was lying” can be a very easy way out. I much prefer the idea of strong Force users coming from other bloodlines.

I wouldn’t be surprised, it’s the typical approach these days with movies and tv. Everyone is related to everyone else and everything that happens is related to another thing that happened before.
